This product is made from "sun-dried salt" and "bittern," which is naturally concentrated from the beautiful seawater of Australia, in order to provide safe and high quality salt. 350 years ago, a tradition was passed down in Ako of making salt by adding bittern back into the salt. The bittern, a blessing of the sea, brings out the flavor of the ingredients and deepens the taste of the dish.
